Guided by: The Lithuanian Republic’s Occupational Safety and Health Law, Article 27, Section 5, states that employers determine the training and knowledge verification procedures for employees performing hazardous work, as approved by the Government. This is except for cases where laws specify a different procedure, and it aligns with international standards, guidelines, and normative documents applicable in the European Union and other industrialized countries. The program is implemented considering the demand (Directive 89 / 391 / EEC – DSS).
Objective: To develop employee competencies and confidence so that they can perform high-altitude work while adhering to the highest safety standards. The training aims to provide not only essential theoretical knowledge but also practical experience that will help employees effectively identify and reduce risk factors, as well as competently respond to accidents and critical situations.
Duration: 16 hours
Will Know: All important safety aspects, from work organization and the use of personal protective equipment to accident prevention and rescue work. Also emphasizes the importance of normative acts regulating fire safety and electrical safety. The practical part will provide an opportunity to apply theoretical knowledge in real work situations, under the guidance of a qualified teacher.
Will Learn: Basic safety and health principles when working at height, including the correct use of protective equipment and elevation devices. How to perform workplace risk assessment and choose effective risk reduction measures. How to prepare equipment and tools for work at height. Practical skills in performing high-altitude work, guided by a certified teacher’s instructions. How to install vertical and horizontal safety systems for work at height. Practical skills in rescue work, using special equipment.
